About PracticePath
PracticePath is a free, open-source, community-driven platform that provides educational guidance for healthcare practitioners considering opening their own practice. The Site is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or business advice.
No Professional Advice
User Accounts
- You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must provide accurate information when completing your profile, including a valid NPI number if applicable.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Community Contributions
PracticePath operates as a community wiki. When you submit edits or content:
- You grant PracticePath a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and distribute your contributions as part of the platform.
- You represent that your contributions are original or that you have the right to share them, and that they do not infringe on any third party's rights.
- All contributions are subject to review and approval by site administrators.
- We reserve the right to edit, remove, or reject any content at our discretion.
AI Assistant
The Site includes an AI-powered assistant that answers questions about each section. Responses from the AI:
- Are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or current
- Do not constitute professional advice of any kind
- Should always be verified with qualified professionals before acting on them
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
- Use the Site for any illegal purpose
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Interfere with the operation of the Site
- Scrape or harvest data from the Site in an automated fashion beyond reasonable use

PracticePath is open-source software. The site's code is available under its respective open-source license. Community-contributed content is shared under the terms described in the Community Contributions section above. The PracticePath name and branding are the property of the project maintainers.
